Dear distinguished guests,

The China-Belgium Science and Technology Exchange Symposium (CBSTES) is an annual event that brings together Chinese and Belgian academic, scientific,and corporate communities to exchange ideas and collaborate. Since its start in 2019, this symposium, co-organized by the Association of Chinese Professionals in Belgium (ACPB) and the China-Belgium Technology Center (CBTC), has been held successfully for three years in a row.

The previous three symposiums successfully mobilized Chinese and Belgian science and technology professionals from a variety of sectors, including: life science, ICT, smart manufacturing, modern agriculture, climate change, green building etc., thus creating a sharing platform for ongoing and win-win science and technology exchanges and cooperation between China and Belgium.

As a renowned event, CBSTES has received positive feedbacks from participating research institutes, high-tech companies and business professionals from both China and Belgium, as well as positive media coverage in China, such as Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily, Guangming Daily, China News Agency, China Radio International, China Youth Daily, among others.

While Europe is slowly recovering from the pandemic, Belgium is also experiencing a resurgence in business, which allows for offline events and workshops. As aresult, the organizing committee, led by ACPB and CBTC, would like to invite you to the 4th China-Belgium Technology Exchange Symposium, which will be held in Brussels,Belgium (offline), and other Chinese cities (online) on Friday, October 28,2022.

This year’s symposium will focus on topics related to sustainable development, including but not limited to industrial products, low carbon development, environmental protection, artificial intelligence, climate change,medical and biological innovation etc. The morning session will consist of keynote speeches and roundtable discussions, while the afternoon session will be organized in two separate theme discussions. The organizing committee will invite concerning government officials, industry experts and business representatives from the department of science and technology, research institutes and innovative enterprises from both China and Belgium to participate in the conference.

第四届中比科技交流研讨会

第一轮通知

亲爱的同事们、朋友们：

中比科技交流研讨会（CBSTES）是由旅比华人专业人士协会（Association of Chinese Professionals in Belgium, ‘ACPB’）和中比科技园（China Belgium Technology Center,‘CBTC’）主办的中比科技交流平台。作为中比科技界，学术界和企业界交流合作的年度盛会，自2019年创办至今，研讨会已成功地举办了三届。在这交流平台上聚集了生命医药、信息通讯、智能制造、现代农业，气候变化，绿色建筑等领域的中比科技专业人士，为中比两国持续、双赢的科技交流和合作打下了良好的基础，并得到了新华社、人民日报、光明日报、中新社、中国国际广播电台、中国青年报等官方媒体的广泛报道，获得了众多中比双方科技院所企业及科技专业人士的积极评价。

随着比利时的疫情形势总体稳中向好，使得诸多合作项目和研讨会的线下交流和分享变得可行。因此，以比利时旅比华人专业人士协会（ACPB）和中比科技园（CBTC）为主要成员的组委会计划于2022年10月28日星期五在在比利时首都布鲁塞尔（线下），中国等地（线上）举办第四届中比科技交流研讨会。

本届研讨会将重点关注与可持续发展相关的主题，研讨会主题包括但不限于工业产品，低碳发展，建筑环保，人工智能，气候变化，医学和生物创新等领域。研讨会上午的内容以主题演讲，圆桌论坛等主要形式进行，下午的内容将以两个分会场的形式展开。届时组委会将邀请中比双方科技部门、科研院所和创新企业的政府官员、行业专家和企业家代表参会交流。
